Our Development Process

Here is our order of process when developing our websites and web applications.

Client sends us a request
Active Web Systems contacts client to setup a meeting to discuss web project
Initial Meeting to discuss project [This meeting can be in-person or tele-conference]
Website Screenshot - we create a screenshot of a potential site using information gathered from meeting. Incorporated colors and temporary graphics and text to show site layout and style
Once approved the initial programming is done
Rough Draft presented to client
Revisions will be made
More Drafts - A website can undergo a variety of drafts. Our experience has been 2 drafts, but it may be more. We want to get it EXACTLY the way you want it
Final Draft
Testing - Before going live with the site, we like to have a Quality Assurance test with a select number of people... who will be chosen by you. Normally it's individuals within the company.
Going Live - Your site is up and running

Once the site is complete, you are ready to run with it. We do offer website updates, but they will be billed by the hour. There is a monthly fee that can be added to your hosting plan that provides your business with small textual and small graphic updates. All other programming is billed at our normal programming rates.
